wedding wednesday #18: our honeymoon! {part 1}

for our honeymoon, we went to the beautiful land of puerto vallarta!  we stayed in the marina at the newly renovated westin hotel.  it was everything honeymooners could dream of - it was a quiet & relaxing place, our room was fabulous, & the views were breathtaking.

speaking of the room, it was seriously amazing.  the doors to the patio opened up all the way so you could see out onto the ocean & the mountains in the background.  there are few things more amazing than the sound of the ocean.

& there was a hot tub outside on the patio.  fabulous.

our resort with multiple pools & huge palm trees.  sailboats & para sailers were passing by every day.

when we arrived, a bottle of red wine & chocolate covered strawberries were waiting for us!

my husband is adorable. 

 {oh, puerto vallarta.  we love thee.}
