where did i find that? - wedding rehearsal.

well, i am happy to enlighten you.  there are so many awesome finds out there that this is going to be an ongoing segment on love, the porters (LTP, for short).  what better place to start than the neat details at our wedding rehearsal.

first things first - these fabulous, crazy, totally out there shoes.  where else could something like this be found except on etsy?  i really, really hope you know about etsy. if not, you are missing out on the wonderful world of all things handmade.  anything on earth you can think of that could possibly be handmade can be found on etsy.  these shoes, in particular, were made by a lovely shop called OxfordHeaven.  this girl was so much fun to work with - i messaged her an idea of what i wanted & this is what she came up with.  great find #1.

& then there is the dress.  i.love.this.dress.  there are not words to describe how happy i was when i (finally) got this dress.  a little boutique out of oregon called sarahseven handmade this dress.  she also has an etsy site which states that it takes about 10 weeks to make the dresses.  mine, on the other hand, took 15 weeks.  long story short, it was quite a task to get this dress in time for the rehearsal dinner (it finally arrived the week of the rehearsal).  but, oh it is so true, we can only appreciate the miracle of a sunrise if we have waited in the darkness.
