in cara & beau's honor, today's post is all about wedding blogs. i fell in love...who i am kidding - i became OBSESSED...with wedding blogs. i could not have planned our wedding without them, so i am passing on the phenomenal world of knowledge/advice/tips/ideas that are these sites to my soon-to-be sister-in-law!
1. style me pretty - the #1 wedding blog out there. it is everything pretty in the wedding world. truly.
2. southern weddings magazine - being the southern girl i am, it is so great to have a blog dedicated to an important part of my world.
3. classic bride - another well named blog. only one blog post per day (hey... sometimes you need a break when at a desk job), but it's usually an inspiring post.
4. the wedding chicks - in addition to all of the pretty, these girls add some "out there" ideas every so often. a nice touch.
5. 100 layer cake - more pretty. (do you see my wedding theme?) at the very least, look at the # 3 fave post - "a surprise wedding". so amazing. you will cry. i do every time.
6. 10,000 only - ok. this blog isn't actually updating anymore, but i HAVE to include it on the list. it was one of my absolute favorites while she was still posting ie before she got married. her whole goal was to only spend $10,000 on creating the wedding of her dreams. crafty, thrify, genius ideas. & she is so lovely & honest. oh, i guess i should mention she didn't meet her goal of only spending $10,000, but she did a fabulous job, nonetheless.
7. weddings fresh - the best part of this blog is gown friday. HOWEVER, once you purchase your wedding gown, never ever ever look at another wedding gown again. seriously. you will thank me.
8. grey likes weddings - not a blog i followed daily, but they shared some great DIY (do it yourself...you'll pick up the lingo very quickly) ideas.
9. beautiful things to share - not actually a wedding blog, but she does, in fact, find beautiful things to share.
CONGRATULATIONS TO CARA & BEAU!!!! we love you...obviously :)
love love,
kjp.
I am the luckiest mother-in-law (MIL) ever to have peyton & kendall and now cara as my new daughters... as the mother of 3 boys i think girls are wonderful when they arrive grown up! Lisa
ReplyDeletethis is the 4th time I have tried to leave this comment. That is precisely how important it is to me to share this one-more-blog with you.

love.it. I still check it out because the things she loves are so freaking adorable and unique and some of them can even fit into everyday life (and not only wedding planning)
