pastries in pastry school!

lots & lots of pastries and a little baking too.

what would be your favorite?

COOKIE LAB:
{chocolate chip cookies!}

{cream cheese brownies!}

{raspberry spritz!}

{biscotti!}

PATE CHOUX LAB:
{gruyere puffs!}

{elairs!}

TART LAB:
{linzer tart!}

{fruit tart!}

PIE LAB:
{apple pie!}

{sour cream pie with peaches & streusel topping!}

{key lime pie!
with no creme chantilly so i could get it home}

my favorite: probably the key lime pie.  with creme chantilly {the fancy name for whipped cream...whipped cream with sugar & vanilla...the only way to make whipped cream in my world}.

most surprisingly good: the linzer tart.  it is sweet pie crust with a raspberry jam filling.  that's all.  quite delicious.

never heard of & definitely not good: sour cream pie.  stay in the south, sour cream pie.

most fun to make: the eclairs.  a lot of work, but you feel very accomplished at the end.  especially when you pipe pretty designs on top.

    These desserts look heavenly - bet they are/were super tasty too!

    I used Kahlua instead of vanilla (because I forgot to buy it!) for my whipped cream this past Thanksgiving and it was TO DIE FOR! Who knew?
