a few times. & most of the times revolved around food.
ok, all of the times revolved around food.
the hotel was on the marina, which was an adorable little area to walk around & find restaurants.
{the marina view from our hotel}
{on our walk to the marina}
{on the marina.
the lighthouse in the background is actually a bar up top.}
{our first night out @ the lighthouse bar.
beautiful sunset!}
after a few days of sun, sun, sun, we decided to spend the morning on the marina. we ate at a fantastic mexican version of waffle house called mr cream. it was delicious!
{HAD to take a picture of this for dr kleinman.
get it...
porto bello...
porter beller...}
{we had a lot of fun this day}
{yeah, right...
like there are really cocodrilos in the marina...
THERE ACTUALLY WERE!!!
we saw one swimming around at the lighthouse bar later in the trip.
craziness.}
{another dinner out...
aren't we a cute newly wed couple :) }
one of our favorite restaurants {that we may have gone to three times} was Victor's. Victor himself walks around, brings you a welcome beverage, & chats with every table. a little mariachi band plays some tunes & gets people to sing & dance. the food was pretty good too!
on our last night in PV, we went to our two favorites - the lighthouse bar for the beautiful sunset & a delicious appetizer + dessert dinner at tikul with the marina view table. lovely lovely.
an amazing trip with my new husband that we will never forget.
love love,
kjp.
awesome! I am amazed how much it looks like cabo! I want to go to PV some day :)
ReplyDeleteSo funny you took a pic in front of "Porto Bellos!" We ate there when we were in PV several years ago. I think Rob and I have this same pic (but not because of porter beller =) Wish we were back in PV not freezing cold Tulsa!
