blakey & i cooked our first steak this weekend!  his first steak not on a grill; my first steak ever.  hard to believe, right?

my husband can be a little domestic.  he actually found a recipe he wanted to make on allrecipes.com,  suggested we make it, found the best place in birmy to buy meat {v. richards, according to ranch-man ogden}, & picked them out!

& he didn't even do his normal "hey, let's make this..." & then let me do it.  :)

blakey actually made our steaks himself - dry rub, pan sear, finish in the oven.
