{july 4th, 2009}
the 4th of july is one of my favorite holidays. it has so many things going for it. but one of the best is the fireworks.
i love fireworks.
they are one of the happiest things on earth.
this year we got to see a fantastic fireworks show in birmy! our new friends, ashley & neil, joined us on the parking deck roof to watch the party over vulcan. neil is a new ob intern & was on call all day with blakey. it was fun to hang out with them on their first alabama holiday.
& the fireworks show was great! they went with a red, white, & blue theme. you have no idea how happy that made me.
so i'm thankful. i'm thankful for an awesome happy fireworks show. i'm thankful for fabulous 4th of july memories of shucking corn with my family & slip-n-sliding with our harvey crew. i'm thankful for new memories of a braves game weekend in atlanta & a firework celebration with new friends.
