since heat wave 2012 set in, it wasn't the coldest of weekends, but that certainly did not stop us from enjoying coffee on the back porch in the mornings & hot tubbing in the evenings. nor from wearing our awesome winter gear. we look so cozy in our scarves in front of the fireplace, don't you think?
gatlinburg, tennessee - this place is something else. i was completely unaware there could be so many putt putt golf holes, attraction restaurants, & dollywood all in one community. it's certainly not a "quaint little bed & breakfast community," but we absolutely loved the mountain views & log cabins.
it truly was an awesome weekend. we watched a lot of football - boomer sooner! the pups played & played & played & played. the boys played & played & played & played too. we girls enjoyed our girl time. we ate some fantastic food. & blake even got some sleep.
great times. great friends.
