steak & jalapeño creamed corn

our dinner in gatlinburg was freakin fantastic.  ogden found an awesome butcher shop in birmingham with delicious steak that is cut fresh from the bone & vacuumed sealed while you wait.  that, my friends, is awesome.  also, this fella knows how to cook steak.  we had some perfectly seasoned & perfectly medium rare steak.  yum.

i tried out a new recipe for the meal that i found on pinterest {of course}.  it was pretty delicious too.  so i shall share the recipe with you!

jalapeno creamed corn
original recipe:  blog her.

1/2 cup butter, room temp
8 oz cream cheese, room temp
2 cups shredded sharp cheddar
3 jalapenos, seeded & finely diced
6 stems green onions, chopped
1 bunch flat leaf parsley, chopped
4 cans corn, drained

1. mix the room temped butter & cream cheese.  add cheese, jalapeños, green onions, parsley, & corn.  stir stir stir.  throw in a 13x9 baking dish.

2. bake at 350 for about 45 minutes.  enjoy!  {that was easy, huh??}

you're welcome.  it's so good.  & totally not healthy.  but so good.

love love,
kjp.
