thankful thursday: my favorite malcolm.

i finally got to meet my nephew!!!  & he is perfect.   & tiny.  & looks absolutely like the boy version of my sister.  & ben's family thinks he looks absolutely like a vandaveer.  which must mean he is the perfect mix of julie & ben.  & that makes him even more perfect.

i hear being a grandparent is the best this in the world.  these two would agree wholeheartedly...

when julie & i were little, every time my dad would open a fortune cookie, he would read "you have one daughter that's silly & another that is even sillier."  every time.  it was pretty cute.  so my sister got this onsie made for malcolm to wear to see his grandpa...

while we were in oklahoma, we took little malcolm to meet his great-grandparents!  malcolm is their sixth great-grandchild.  crazy, huh?!  pretty awesome to see the generations together.

did i mention how much i love him??  i really really do.  i cannot wait to see him grow into the little person he is going to become.  if he is any bit as fabulous as he is now, he is going to be one heck of a man.

by the way, my nephew is super hip.  his father does not approve of me calling him "hipster", so we'll just go with "hip".
