anytime we hang out together, i refer to it as a date. grabbing a drink after class = date! getting a cup of coffee at urban = date! eating lunch together on a saturday = date!
he also knows how much i love surprises. so anytime we are going on a "date" & he is picking where we go, it is a surprise.
this weekend, we decided to have a picnic lunch date. he found a great spot & wanted to surprise me. after we picked up take-out at our favorite campus greasy spoon, we headed up the iron ore mountain to a little cleared area with a beautiful view of downtown birmy & campus. there is a stone retaining wall that acted as our lunch counter, while we chatted the beautiful sunny day away.
love my husband. love his surprises. love our dates.
