last night, we hosted our small group at our house. & that, of course, means i "had to" make a few goodies! blackberry sage water. lemon thyme hummus with carrots & cucumbers & wheat thins. chocolate espresso cookies.
these are super easy & super pretty & super delicious & super healthy. & thus i want to share with you, my friends.

1. toss the blackberries & sage into your beverage dispenser. muddle a few of the blackberries & sage leaves, leaving some of the blackberries whole & pretty.
2. fill the pitcher with water & a few ice cubes. it's ready to serve!
lemon thyme hummus
found on: pinterest
a combination of: chicho's kitchen & happy healthy life
2 cans garbanzo beans {aka chickpeas}, drained but reserve the juice
1 can white beans, drained
1/2 c evoo
2 lemons, zest & juice
1/4 c more lemon juice
4 cloves garlic, minced
4 T fresh thyme
salt
1. in a food processor {go with the original food processor. promise.}, process the garbanzo beans & white beans. slowly add oil & lemon zest & lemon juice. add enough until it's the thickness or thinness you like. i like thin. you might like thick. we can still get a long.
2. when you are at your desired texture, add the garlic, thyme, & salt. continue blending until your hummus is completely smooth & delicious! serve with veggies & wheat thins.
wonderful friends. lovely treats. & great fellowship.
love love,
