the best not-a-christmas-gift gift ever.

in case you didn't already know, blakey is an amazing husband.  he knows me pretty darn well.  & is pretty much the sweetest man ever.  & this gift really takes the cake.

it started off with an invitation for a festive holiday dinner date:

so he told me to start getting ready & then i had some presents to open!  he had four wrapped gifts - all with new holiday attire!  a gorgeous cream sweater, a super sparkly gold skirt, wintery snowflake tights, & a fabulous statement necklace!  it was a perfectly festive ensemble.

then we headed to chez fonfon, a frank stitt restaurant, for cocktails & dinner!  i had a french 75 & blakey had his favorite, a sazerac.  our meals were divine too.  blakey loved his fonfon burger.  i tried the moules et frites - mussels & fries, two of my very favorite things.  who knew they could be paired together?  absolutely fabulous.

it was the perfect holiday evening.  all dressed up with my husband enjoying some fabulous culinary creations.

he truly is the best.  i am so thankful.
